Hybrid Projects

Since we started making Custom LEGO Set in 2021, we always use original LEGO pieces in all of our creations. But this year, we have been mixing LEGO with other LEGO compatible pieces (i.e. Webrick) in certain special projects, mainly due to the following reasons:

• The required LEGO pieces are rare and difficult to get within the LEGO fans network. Even pieces that widely available before can become unavailable later. And when they are rare, they’re becoming more and more expensive. Especially minfigure body parts.
• Often for a particular piece, the color requested by customer is not available. LEGO just don’t have it.

This is of course after confirming first to the customer whether they’re OK to have the set with mixed pieces. Here are some of our most recent projects that utilized ‘hybrid pieces’ of LEGO and Webrick:

And moving forward.
We’re currently working to extend the hybrid project to our other creations. They will have a different model numbering with LMX prefix instead of LM. And they will feature a different minifigures.

It will be Sluban minifigures!
